¨Las Patronas¨ is a group of voluntary women from the comunity of La Patrona, Veracruz, Mexico. Since 1994 they give food and assistance to the migrants, they work where the train called «La Bestia» passes.
They make between 15 and 20 kilos of beans and rise every day. They help 300 each day.
When the train passes, they go close to the train tracks and have 15 minutes to though the bags of food that they prepared, and the bottles of water too, so the migrants that are in the train can catch meanwhile the train is running.
